Stay strong this season with our favorite running groups and winter events

Try as we may, we can’t run away from the changing of seasons.

So why not run into it?

Research suggests that many of us will use colder weather as a reason to skip exercise.

Outdoor exercise, like running during the cooler months, can help you stay consistent with your physical activity and boost your vitamin D exposure.

Boston Bound (Fleet Feet ) – January 7th

If you are qualified for the Boston Marathon or aiming to qualify in the future, Boston Bound from Fleet Feet and New Balance might be for you.

This 16-week training program can help you physically and mentally prepare for Boston – and/or level up your runs with a group of like-minded, fast runners.

Winter Warriors (Chicago Endurance Sports) – November 7th

This 12-week training program from Chicago Endurance Sports and HOKA leads up to the Miami half marathon or 10K. It’s a great fit for all fitness levels and runners looking to maintain and improve during the “challenging” holiday season.

F3 Lake Half Marathon – January 28th 

Chicago’s Winter Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) is an awesome goal for those looking to jumpstart their spring/summer training – and you know we’ll be there, lakeside, cheering you on!

Miami Marathon and Half – January 29th
