This weekend, We had a great time during Sweat, Snack, Shop, Repeat at Under Armour Chicago! We spent the morning working up a sweat with our good friend, Kristen Contos AKA TrainSpartan. She taught us some challenging and intense workouts to get our Saturday started with the right way!
Kristen showed us some great bodyweight exercises to get our blood flowing bright and early on Saturday morning. Kristen is a trainer at CrossTown Fitness, she trains athletes of all levels and ages and also offers personal training sessions. Although our workout with Kristen was only an hour long- she knows how to turn up the heat and make us break a sweat!
After the workout, we enjoyed a delicious recovery breakfast from our friends at Simple Mills. They offer a ton of healthy options – but two of our personal favorites were the gluten-free muffins and sprouted seed crackers.
What better way to get relaxed after a workout than a massage? Our massage therapists and acupuncturist tagged along for this weekend workout to help alleviate any stress or pain that anyone was feeling. Auricular acupuncture consists of a few points in and around the ear that help combat anxiety and stress.
