Our Licensed Dietician Nutritionist, Savannah Cass, LDN, RDN, shares one of her favorite recipes for tuna tostadas. This delicious recipe is great right now, because the two main ingredients (tuna and tortillas) are very shelf-stable.

Some other facts about these nutritious ingredients in the recipe include:

  • Tuna. Tuna is very high in omega 3 fatty acids which are anti-inflammatory.
  • Avocado. Avocado is high in potassium, fiber, and healthy fats.
  • Jalapeño. Jalapeño is very high in vitamin C.
  • Cumin. Cumin helps to improve gut motility. It also contains antioxidants and iron.
