However, it is very common to be deficient in magnesium. Our Nutritionist, Savannah Cass, shares her recipe for a magnesium smoothie. This smoothie contains 400mg of magnesium which is the recommended daily amount.
1 frozen banana
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1 cup of raw spinach
2 Tbsp. of raw pumpkin seeds
2 Tbsp. of almond butter (no sugar added)
2 cups of unsweetened soy milk
1. Place spinach and 1 cup of soy milk into blender and blend until incorporated
2. Place the rest of the ingredients into a blender
3. Blend until smooth. Add more soy milk or water if needed.
