About Dr. Painchaud

Dr. Caitlin Painchaud is the Chiropractic Physician at Aligned Modern Health Park Ridge. Dr. Painchaud is a board certified Chiropractic Physician and physiotherapist as well as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). She is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic where she obtained her doctorate of Chiropractic Degree and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, Go Green!

Dr. Painchaud strives to redefine the approach to healing and provide care that restores the function of the neuro-musculoskeletal system. She specializes in functional movements, joint dysfunction and symmetry to improve athletic performances from any sport/exercise to moms-to-be preparing to have baby. Dr. Painchaud has worked with all levels of athletes including professional athletes in the MLB, NHL and NFL. Executing full training and rehab programs and working alongside the teams athletic trainers preparing them for their season. She is also Webster certified and loves helping women feel great during their pregnancy as well as post-partum recovery.

Dr. Painchaud is a second degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and a world class competitor. She has had the honor to compete on the United States National Competition team at the Pan-American Championships among other international competitions. In her free time she enjoys working out and lifting at her gym, rock climbing, biking, cooking and hiking.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?

I am very passionate about helping people feel better and Chiropractic is a great way to do that!

What are you surprisingly good at?

Dancing! I love salsa and swing

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?

My family, I am a very proud Auntie to my 9 month old nephew Colton!

What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?

The smile on my patients’ faces at the end of our session and patients referring their friends and family after seeing great results!

What’s your biggest accomplishment?

Being awarded the Emerging Women’s Leadership award by my Chiropractic College’s administration for my philanthropic work.

How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?

I grew up competing nationally in karate but always felt limited by pain and stiffness until I started seeing a Chiropractor one summer in High school. Not long after, I competed at the Karate Championships and Won! Which meant I made it on the United States Karate team and competed internationally! After feeling the impact and benefits of chiropractic, I wanted to be able to do the same for other athletes and decided to become a Chiropractor.

What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?

I consistently am able to identify the origin of my patients’ pain by finding what the driving factor of their joint dysfunction is and where it is located.

What are you complimented on most in your work?

My strong hands and the ability to get to the correct depth of tissue dysfunction when I am doing manual therapy.

Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?

Anyone that likes being active or is dealing with pain due to their daily lifestyle.

Share something unique that most people don’t know about you.

My last name, Painchaud, is French for “Hot Bread”, Pain- “bread” chaud- “hot”. My ancestors were bakers.
