About Dr. Toth

Dr. Toth graduated from National University of Health Sciences with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2018, and her treatment philosophy is to treat her patients as a whole rather than just a list of symptoms. She has a unique way of combining her specialties in nutrition, botanicals, functional medicine, yoga, and holistic preventative care to help her patients reach their health goals and feel their very best.

In her free time, Dr. Toth is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor who teaches at CorePower Yoga, as well as a certified StarGuard Elite lifeguard instructor who trains both new and returning lifeguards for the Glenview Park District’s three aquatics facilities. Dr. Toth also enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spoiling her two beagles.

Q&A with Dr. Toth

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?

Professionally, I’m passionate about educating and empowering my patients to take an active role in owning and managing their own health by teaching them how to remove the obstacles to health in order to allow their body to heal itself and function at its best.

Personally, I am a passionate animal rights activist. I am an ardent proponent of shelter animal adoption and am vehemently opposed to animal testing of any sort. I strive to educate the public about the importance of loving foster and forever homes for stray animals, the significance of buying and using products that are cruelty-free, and urge others to use their vote to elect public officials into office who will work to end animal testing, cruelty, and sale of animals from non-certified breeders and animal mills.

What three traits define you?

Thoughtful, energetic, and detail-oriented.

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?

Help others. I feel that being of service to others is my purpose in life, and I’m my happiest when I’m able to make someone’s day even just a little bit better.

What are you surprisingly good at?

Dancing—German folk dancing to be more specific. I danced with my German club’s children’s folk dance group from age 3-13, then danced competitively across the United States with the youth group for 10 years before retiring at age 23. Now, I dance a few weekends a month with the adult dance group.

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?

Laughter.

What are you complimented on most in your work?

Being able to make meaningful connections with others, as well as my tendency to go above and beyond what is expected of me.

Do you have any family members or pets to include in your bio?

My two beagles, Gabi and Aria.

What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hanging out with my two pups, and am always excited to be able to pursue my yoga practice or take the occasional spin class when my schedule allows. When I’m at home I can usually be found with my nose in a book and love nothing more than unwinding at the end of a long day with a cup of tea and a Netflix documentary.

Share something unique that most people don’t know about you.

German was the first language I spoke growing up, and I’m still able to speak it proficiently.
