About Dr. Douglas
Christopher Douglas, DC, CME, graduated with his bachelor’s degree in health & human performance from the University of Tennessee and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis, MO. Upon graduation, Dr. Douglas worked in a variety of clinical settings from solo to interdisciplinary practices. He has had the privilege of teaching at the University level as an adjunct professor, which has allowed him to fulfill his passion for teaching. He is a student at heart and is constantly striving to learn all that he can. While in chiropractic school, Christopher authored, and self-published a book on Amazon to spread the word on healthy living and the impact that chiropractic care can play in someone achieving their health goals. Christopher’s clinical passions are rooted in treating chronic, lifestyle mediated diseases and symptoms through a holistic/functional medicine approach.

What are you most passionate about professionally?
Professionally I am passionate about helping as many people as I can through functional medicine.
Personally, I am passionate about my family and living every second I can with intentional purpose!
What three traits define you?
Empathetic, loyal, curious.
What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
Help people achieve their health goals.
What are you surprisingly good at?
I can whistle extremely well, which is funny because I used to blow in instead of out when I was initially learning.
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
My family.
How long have you been working in your field?
10 years
What’s your biggest accomplishment?
Having the privilege to be a Husband and Father to my wife and children.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
I worked as a sterilization tech at a Dentist office in undergraduate and quickly learned that the mouth and teeth were not for me.
What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?
Delivering real world solutions for their roadblocks when they are implementing treatment strategies into their daily life.
Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?
I love working with anyone, however, I must admit I am partial to chronic, lifestyle driven diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative cases.
In your work or creative process, what concepts are sacred? Which rules have you made, which ones do you follow?
Only one. Make the patient understand what is wrong and make it crystal clear on how we are going to fix it.
Where about (neighborhood, town, etc.) do you live?
I live in Tennessee, a.k.a the country!
Do you have any other passions of personal goals that you would like to share?
I am an athlete and hope to one day complete a triathlon!
What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
I love spending time with my family, exploring nature, and reading something new!
