About Dr. Button
Dr. Joshua Button, DC, graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Biology and Wellness Management from the State University of New York at Oswego. He then continued his studies at Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College), where he completed his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Dr. Button specializes in creating physical, structural changes throughout his customized treatment plans, allowing his patients to recover properly and maintain their overall wellness. As a former athlete himself (primarily hockey), Dr. Button particularly enjoys working with adult and pediatric athletes (from recreational to elite!) to aid recovery, prevent injuries, and optimize performance.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Professionally I am passionate about giving people the tools they need to make lifelong changes for themselves to improve their quality of life.
What three traits define you?
Empathetic, patient, and hardworking.
What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
I would want to be an ice hockey coach for young kids just getting started.
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
My dog Juniper (Beagle/Blue Heeler), and my two cats Leonard and Eugene.
What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
Patient feedback is always a great reminder of how what we do really makes a different in people’s lives.
How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?
My experience playing different sports gives me a great perspective on how different sports require a specific type of care to help in the recovery process.
What are you complimented on most in your work?
My ability to fully listen to the client and their needs.
Do you have any other passions or personal goals that you would like to share?
One of my personal goals is to help in the recovery process of athletes who are dealing with concussions.
What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
I enjoy hiking, training for triathalons (although the swim aspect is not something I’d say is currently all that fun), camp, read and play hockey.
