Personally, I am most passionate about living a simple, free-flowing life and recognizing the openness that arises when contemplating change and growth as integral aspects of our human existence.
Professionally, I am most passionate about growing, learning, and establishing a work ethic that allows me to be the best practitioner I can be.
What 3 traits define you ?
Perceptive, curious, and compassionate with an edge.
What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
Make custom herbal formulas all day and night!!
What are you surprisingly good at?
Singing and dancing in the shower. It took some practice but I am solid now. Although, I have had more traditional dance training.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
My library is like oxygen to me.
What’s the biggest proof that you are good at what you do?
I had a patient once leave behind a box of laxative tea with a thank you note because they didn’t need it anymore but my biggest proof is having patients excited about the life results that they see.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
There was a time in my life when I could not imagine the quality of life I have now, having struggled with varying forms of mental health and physical health issues in my past. The way I live now has exponentially changed due to this medicine and other healing modalities I have acquired over the years. The more I learn the less I know and I am becoming more accepting of that as I quench my continued thirst for knowledge.
How does your education connect to your professional career? what about personal experiences?
My education and experience working in mental health and my past studies in gender, race, and sexuality have allowed me the privilege to perceive a both the simplicity and complexity of human experience. Through that lens, I have also learned to speak less, ask questions, and listen, and love more.
What are your ideal clients and why should they connect with you?
In my past experience as psychotherapist, life coach and my current experience as Chinese medicine practitionner I have enjoyed working with people from all walks of life. Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for men’s health and I am curious about where that will continue to take me.
