At Aligned Modern Health, we treat every patient as an individual. All of our Acupuncturists have extensive experience in treating a variety of conditions and all hold a Masters or Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the top acupuncture schools in the world.

About Marianna
Marianna is an NCCAOM board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist, with a background in Zen Shiatsu therapy. She completed her Master’s Degree at Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago in 2017, after which she joined a thriving acupuncture clinic in Washington DC. There, she evolved her skills treating many conditions associated with the stresses of modern life.
Marianna values the tools East Asian Medicine provides to treat each person as a unique whole as opposed to a list of symptoms and conditions. Her approach to medicine is gentle and collaborative. Her goal as a practitioner is to provide her patients a holistic alternative for healing and self-care so they can live their lives to the fullest.
She has experience working with women’s health, fertility and perinatal care, chronic and acute pain management, digestive health, stress management, and mental- emotional support.
In her previous life, Marianna worked in theatrical design, and still loves painting and pursuing other art projects in her free time. She enjoys long walks on the beach with her husband and their schnoodle pup, Sawyer.
