About Dr. Jafry
Dr. Zahra Jafry, MD, is a hormone health specialist. She blends her expertise in family medicine, functional health, and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) to provide individualized care that supports hormonal balance, metabolic health, and longevity.
Dr. Jafry earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington before completing her medical degree at the American University of Antigua. During her family medicine residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Southern California, she gained extensive experience in preventive medicine, women’s health, and metabolic disorders.
She has served as a lead physician at Optum in Murrieta, CA, where she spearheaded innovative, patient-centered healthcare models and worked alongside multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes through restoring hormone balance. Over the years, Dr. Jafry has pursued extensive training in BHRT and functional medicine, including advanced education through BHRT Academy to further refine her expertise in personalized hormone therapy.
