Lucas is from Peoria, IL, but always knew he’d end up in Chicago as an adult. He is a 2020 graduate of The SOMA Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy in Chicago. Lucas specializes in deep tissue massage, but has also been trained in Swedish techniques, sports massage, and myofascial release. Since graduating, Lucas has continued his studies in clinical massage, as well as a multitude of other subjects including computer science, marketing, and cognitive psychology.
He enjoys crafting personalized massage treatments based on your specific needs, and listens with intent to ensure the best possible results. In his spare time, Lucas enjoys hiking with his family, reading books of all types, practicing mindful meditation, and keeping up on all research related to massage therapy and wellness. He is truly dedicated to furthering his service to his clients and helping them in all facets.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Professionally, I am most passionate about getting to help people every single day of my life and making a difference. Personally, I would say dedicating myself to being a better person for not only myself, but others around me as well.
What three traits define you?
Kind, receptive & driven.
What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
Figure out how to make a difference in people’s lives.
What are you surprisingly good at?
Cooking and developing flavors!
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
Meditation, as it keeps me feeling grounded and in touch with myself.
What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
The sense of relief my clients feel after seeing me, as well as their words and actions.
How long have you been working in your field?
I have been studying and practicing massage actively for 2 years now!
What’s your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment would be graduating from The Soma Institute for Clinical Massage during hardship of the pandemic.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Probably making plaster dental molds in a dental implant laboratory.
What are you complimented on most in your work?
My attention to detail as well as my ability to listen and to create a specific treatment based off of the needs of each individual.
Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?
My ideal client is someone who is focused on their health and wellness, and wants to make positive changes in their body. They should connect with me because I am a caring and empathetic person who is dedicated to helping them feel better through their treatment!
In your work or creative process, what concepts are sacred? Which rules have you made, which ones do you follow?
I would say the concept of intent and bringing the active thought and intention of doing my best to aid healing in my treatments. Where energy goes, energy flows!
Do you have any family members or pets to include in your bio?
An American Bully named Osiris, which is my dog!
What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
Hiking, practicing meditation, and reading!

Something unique about me is that I’m ambidextrous which occurs in only 1% of the population!
