About Dr. Afshan Husain, MD, AAHIVS, DipABLM

Dr. Afshan Husain is a board-certified family and lifestyle medicine physician with advanced training in HIV care. She brings a deeply compassionate, whole-person approach to hormone health—centered on evidence-based medicine and the empowerment of every patient. Her clinical work focuses on the root causes of chronic conditions and hormonal imbalance, with personalized care plans that restore energy, metabolic health, and overall well-being.

At Aligned Modern Health, Dr. Husain supports a diverse patient population—including those navigating perimenopause, menopause, and hormonal transitions—with warmth, respect, and clinical precision. She earned her medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences and completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
