About Dr. Santore

Dr. Carrie Santore graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Brockport. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration at the University of Rochester. At the time, she thought she would be best suited as an Academic Advisor for Student Athletes at the college level. During her tenure as an Academic Advisor, Dr. Santore started educating herself about holistic health practices. After 7.5 years as an Academic Advisor, she decided to change careers and pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan University. Her mentor during Chiropractic is also a Functional Medicine Practitioner, and his influence inspired her to expand her knowledge in the field of Functional Medicine. Shortly after graduating, Dr. Santore completed the Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner program through Functional Medicine University.

Dr. Santore specializes in a mind-body approach, integrating functional and holistic principles that help others optimize their overall health and wellbeing. Her philosophy is “When you become your most healthy self, you may just heal thyself”. She provides lifestyle and nutrition education to help combat health concerns related to each system of the body. Dr. Carrie’s superpower is empowering others to advocate for and take ownership of their own health.

Prior to joining Aligned Modern Health, Dr. Santore served as a Functional Medicine Health Coach for a private practice in Scarsdale, NY. She also educated Chiropractic students as an Adjunct Instructor in technique and assessment courses at Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls, NY.
