- Master of Science Nursing University of Illinois Chicago
- NCBTMB Certified Massage Therapist
- Trained in Functional Medicine at Institute of Functional Medicine (certification in progress)
- NCLEX Registered Nurse
- NCCAOM Certified Licensed Acupuncturist
- Nurse Practitioner Student (expected graduation 8/2023)
About Shandalla
Shandalla specializes in integrative medicine where she focuses on a natural approach to healing and recognizes that, in the right conditions, the body can heal itself. She incorporates acupuncture, nutritional therapy, and natural medical approaches to achieve this. Shandalla meets every patient where they are and puts together a treatment plan for her patients incorporating their needs and desires. Shandalla provides treatments and health education for a broad spectrum of topics including but not limited to general health, autoimmune diseases, chronic pain management, neuropathy, stroke recovery, and mental, physical, and emotional support through acupuncture.
Shandalla is an NCCAOM board-certified Acupuncturist, a Sigma Theta Tau Nurse (an honor only bestowed upon the highest levels of nursing graduates), and a member of the American Holistic Nursing Association (AHNA).
