At Aligned Modern Health, we treat every patient as an individual. All of our Acupuncturists have extensive experience in treating a variety of conditions and all hold a Masters or Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the top acupuncture schools in the world.
About Patrycja
Patrycja graduated from UIC with a bachelors degree in Biology in 2017 and she is an Illinois licensed acupuncturist with a degree from Pacific College of Health and Sciences at Chicago. She is a board certified herbalist in Chinese Medicine, which she also completed at Pacific College of Health and Sciences at Chicago.
She has an interest in treating disorders of anxiety, fertility, and digestive disorders.
Patrycja lives in Chicago with her fiancé and their cat Mr. Noodles. In her free time, she loves being active, swimming, walking, and spending time out in the sun.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
I am super passionate about using food as medicine and how different food properties affect the human body.
Personally I am passionate about family and managing a household.

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
Acupuncture of course!
I would still study Chinese Medicine nutrition and Herbology too, I am fascinated by using food as medicine.
What are you surprisingly good at?
Memorizing Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture points
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
My fiance and my cat.
What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
The hours of study I put in, passing board exams, and making my fiancé’s migraine go away using only two acupuncture points.
What’s your biggest accomplishment?
Passing my board exams and helping fertility patients get pregnant.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
I don’t know if I’ve had many weird jobs, but I did volunteer for a week in Thailand at an elephant sanctuary in 2018. It was super cool! I highly recommend.
What problems do you consistently solve for your patients?
I tend to treat patients with anxiety and shoulder/neck tightness.
Who is your ideal client?
My ideal client is anyone who is interested in trying acupuncture and showing up consistently for their treatments.
In your work or creative process, what concepts are sacred? Which rules have you made/followed?
Always a student! There is always more to learn and topics need to be approached from many angles to truly understand them.
I also find there can more than one way of doing things! If one thing doesn’t work, I will try a different approach.
Do you have any other passions or professional goals you’d like to share?
My personal goals include expanding my family and to grow as an individual spiritually and physically.
I would love to maintain my health by consistently staying active, eating well, and resting appropriately. It is all about maintaining a balance.

I have family in South Africa.
