Olivia Banifazl is NCCAOM Board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, complemented by a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. She brings a depth of expertise to the world of holistic healing. Her time living and studying in China has fueled her life’s passion. Olivia places utmost importance on patient well-being and recognizes the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and emotional health. What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Professionally, I’m passionate about finding and treating the core problem that is behind my patient’s issues, and not just treating the symptoms. Personally, I am most passionate about the natural approach to mind and body wellness.
What are you surprisingly good at?
Knowing exactly what a person is trying to describe when pointing and making weird noises to describe pain or discomfort.
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
My dogs and cat!
What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
The “sparkle” I see in my patient eyes after treatment.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Weirdest job I ever had was as a Covid Tester, I must have poked a million noses.
What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?
Simplifying the process of integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine to enhance health and wellbeing.
What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
I love walking and hiking – there are so many great trails even in Chicago and it’s a great way to explore different parts of the city.
