At Aligned Modern Health, we treat every patient as an individual. All of our Acupuncturists have extensive experience in treating a variety of conditions and all hold a Masters or Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the top acupuncture schools in the world.

About James
James graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR with a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine. When James first received acupuncture, he was fascinated by the treatments. He was very curious, asking the acupuncturist all kinds of questions about the treatment. Very quickly, Chinese Medicine became a hobby, and eventually, James decided to make his hobby into a career.
James main strengths are that he is passionate about what he does and that he is always curious to learn more. James’ practice focuses on pain, sciatica, GI issues, mental health, acute conditions, post-COVID, allergies and auto-immune diseases. One of James goals is to be a part of Chinese Medicine’s growing popularity in the west, and help people seek out eastern medicine for all kinds of conditions.
In his free time, James enjoys being outdoors. He enjoys riding his bike, going for a hike, and spending time near water.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
I most passionate about understanding how the human body works from the Ancient Chinese perspective. Personally, I love being outside in nature.

Home made Italian food
How long have you been working in your field?
Almost 2 years!
What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
Being told early on in my career that I prevented someone from going into surgery
What’s your biggest accomplishment?
The fact that I was willing to drop my secure job to study Chinese Medicine.

Sciatica, GI issues, Auto-immune
What are you complimented on most in your work?
My ability to listen.
Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?
My ideal client has had ongoing issues with digestion, auto-immune or mental health issues. They should connect with me because I am driven and want nothing more than to get to the root of their issues.
