Eric Carpenter is an acupuncturist at Aligned Modern Health. He completed his undergraduate education at Dominican University in River Forest, IL where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. He went on to earn his Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.
In 2009, Eric spent a total of 4 months studying acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in a hospital setting in the Chinese cities of Kunming and Hangzhou. He has been practicing in Illinois and Wisconsin for over 15 years. He has a great deal of experience treating musculoskeletal pain, headaches, emotional disorders, digestive issues and infertility.
Eric’s interest in holistic health started as a teenager after acupuncture and dietary changes helped him significantly improve issues with headaches and anxiety he was experiencing. After feeling the benefits firsthand, he decided to learn how to help others improve their health and quality of life.

Some patients cried when I had to relocate.

My dad is in his 80s and is on zero medications – only acupuncture and good nutrition.
